A profoundly positive impact on our entire family

Anne has had a profoundly positive impact on our entire family. From the very beginning, she created a space where both of my children felt safe, accepted and genuinely understood. As a parent of neurodivergent children, that feeling is rare — and it meant everything to us. Anne has supported both of my children in ways that go far beyond traditional therapy. She sees them for who they truly are and works alongside them with patience, warmth and deep respect. Through her gentle guidance, I’ve seen growth in their confidence, emotional regulation and ability to connect with the world around them. One of the most beautiful and effective parts of Anne’s work is how she incorporates animals such as chickens, dogs, horses and cats into her therapy. This creates a calm, non-judgmental environment where my children feel at ease to explore, learn and express themselves. With Anne by their side, they have been guided through how to care for and treat animals, and she thoughtfully links this understanding back to how we treat people. This approach has had a powerful impact on my children’s empathy and understanding of social boundaries — particularly for my son Obie. What makes Anne truly special is that she doesn’t just support children — she supports families. She has been a constant source of reassurance, understanding and guidance for me as a parent. Knowing that someone so compassionate and knowledgeable was walking alongside us made an enormous difference during times that felt overwhelming. Anne’s care is genuine, her approach is deeply thoughtful, and her impact is lasting. I will always be grateful for the role she has played in our lives, and I cannot recommend her highly enough to any family seeking early intervention, connection and heartfelt support.

Anne is supportive, knowledgeable, and deeply understands the needs of autistic girls

Our daughter, Matilda has been attending a weekly girl’s social group at Field of Dreams. We can't thank Anne enough for creating a place where Matilda felt safe and accepted to be herself. Anne is supportive, knowledgeable, and deeply understands the needs of autistic girls. My daughter has gained confidence, social skills and made positive friendships. Field of Dreams has been a meaningful part of Matilda's development, and we would highly recommend it to other families looking for a calm, engaging and nurturing environment for their child.

Ability to build strong, safe and secure relationships

Anne has worked with my twin boys for six years. Born premature (27 weeks) and both diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay (GDD), with one having a current diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and minimally speaking, Anne has been there supporting and helping us navigate their often-challenging developmental journey through daycare, kindergarten and primary school. She has worked with both of them individually with a child/family centred approach to her care, enabling collaborative goal setting. Her teaching background and lived experience of parenting a neurodiverse child shine through in her knowledge, understanding and support. Her ability to build strong, safe and secure relationships and meet children where they are at has allowed my children to progress at their own pace and flourish.
